The Secret Language Of Sisters

Hi! As I keep reading "The Sercret Language Of Sisters" I can really compare this to my life. I have to other older sisters and they can be a lot to handle sometimes. Even though we have our ups and downs we still have really good communication with each other. Not only are they my sisters but they are also my best friends, I feel like I can tell them anything. Like in the beginning of he book Tilly is talking about how Roo is always on time, but on that day that she was supposed to pick her up from the museum she was really late. I can compare this to my sisters, my oldest sister Alison is always on time, she is one of those really sweet and professional poeple, but she can also be really fun and crazy. My other sister Dora is different though, she is always late and never on time. She is more of a party girl with a bad attitude. But just like my sister Alison she is super sweet (sometimes) and so fun to hang out with. Something different about the book and my personal life is that my sisters were not in a car accident and in a coma. Another thing is that Roo and Tilly were only a couple years apart. My sisters and I and years apart. My sister Dora is eight years older than me, and my sister Alison is ten years older than me! And I am just fourteen years old. Even though I am the baby of the three the bond between my sisters and I is too strong to be broken just like Roo and Tilly.

Archery

Hello!!! So I am going to tell you what I did on the weekend. So my weekend was so much fun but scary. So we went to an Archery Range and it was so much fun. I had done it before but this time my whole family went and we challenge each other and it was so much fun. It is kind of hard to pull the arrow back but I got the hang of it. I have told you the fun part but here is the scary. When I was aiming for the target my little brother moved me and I let go of the arrow and it alsmot hit someone. Thankfully it missed and he was ok. I felt so bad and I apologized and he was laughing (weird the fact that he could have gotten hurt) and said it was ok. And that is what I did on the weekend.

The Secret Language Of Sisters

Hello! So I stared to read a book called The Secret Language Of Sisters by Luanne Rice which has 336 pages. I really like this book so far. It starts of when a girl named Roo gets in a car accident and her sister Tilly thinks it's her fault because Roo was texting her while she was driving. As I keep reading I predict that in some weird way Tilly is going to be able to talk to her sister Roo even though she is in a coma. I think this because in some chapters of the book Roo is still talking but no one can hear her. I believe that at one point Tilly is going to be able to communicate with her (I know it sounds creepy). I can't wait to see what happens next.

Allegiant

Hello! I am still reading Allegiant (it is such a long book and I am such a slow reader) by Veronica Roth and this book just keeps getting better an better. So as I am reading Allegiant I am starting to notice that their is a lot of conflict. I have a prediction that someone is going to get hurt in some way or even die. I am hoping that it is not Tris or Tobias (because they are my favorite characters) so far I am really enjoying this book it has a lot of detail which helps you visualize a very descriptive image. I am so eager to finish this book and hopefully I don't get any spoilers before I finish it.

Allegiant

Hello! So I finally finished reading Insurgent and started on Allegiant. So again Allegiant is really long to and it is written by Veronica Roth.  Something that I really like about the book so far is the way that the books connect to each other. So in the ending of Insurgent Tris and Tobias were observing the rest of the dauntless screaming and in the start of Allegiant it starts off with walking away from the room and later on to go get the truth serum. Something else that I really like about the book is that it really has a lot of suspense into for example when Tris was on trial with the truth serum, I thought that they were going to kill her because she was a traitor, but then remembered that she is Divergent and she can fight the truth serum and lie. Overall I am really enjoying reading Allegiant and I can't wait to finish it.

A Work In Progress

Hello! I hope that your day has been amazing so far. So the book that I am blogging about is a book I finished a while ago. The book is called "A Work In Progress" by Connor Franta and it is actually a Memoir and it has 212 pages. What I liked about the book is that Connor really adds a voice into his book. Like I can literally imagine him reading it (that sounds kind of creepy). Another thing that I really liked about this book is that Connor is so inspirational for example he says, "Everyone has preferences unique to him or her. So know what you like, know what makes you happy, stick to your guns, and state it with confidence. You'll walk taller, and as long as you follow your gut, you won't stray far in life." I feel like this is a very inspirational quote from the book because we all go through ups and downs and we just have to be strong and stand with confidence, and I think that Connor stated it very well.

Insurgent

Hello! So the book I am currently reading is "Insurgent" by Veronica Roth. It is 525 pages long. Yeah pretty long. I decided to read Insurgent because I read "Divergent" last year so I wanted to continue and read all of them. I really don't want to give so much away because it really wouldn't make sense since this is the second book of the series. So I am on page 417 and I am predicting that Tobias a.k.a "Four" father is going to help them in defeating Erudite. I believe this because in the book it says that Tris is trying to find some secret information that can help her and the rest of the truthful Dauntless in defeating Erudite and their leader Jeanne. Marcus, Tobias father knows that information but is keeping it a secret. I think that towards the end he is going to end up telling Tris and all the truthful Dauntless (Read the books to find out why they are called the truthful Dauntless) would be able to defeat Jeanne and her Erudite headquarters.
